肝脏手术辅助系统刀尖位置估算精度验证

当手术刀接近不应切割的部位(例如大型血管)时,我们的手术辅助系统能够发出警报。此外,该系统还能引导刀尖,以实现对肿瘤的精准切除。在手术过程中,我们的系统利用两种不同的距离传感器,实时估算手术刀及目标器官的位置与姿态。系统同时测量刀尖与器官内部血管之间的距离。本文报告了针对刀尖位置估算准确性进行的验证结果。实验结果显示,刀尖位置估算的误差为 0.3 mm,标准差为 0.3 mm。


Accuracy Verification of Knife Tip Position Estimation for Liver Surgery Support System


Abstract:

Our surgical support system can issue a warning when the surgical knife approaches that should not be cut, e.g. a large blood vessel. It can also navigate the knife-tip to appropriately resect a tumor. Our system estimates the position and orientation of the surgical knife and the target organ using two different distance sensors during surgery. The distance between the knife-tip and the blood vessels inside the organ is measured. In this paper, we report the verification of accuracy of the knife-tip position estimation. The experimental results show that the position estimation error of the knife-tip is 0.3 mm and the standard deviation is 0.3 mm.
